Maybe you’ve tried to talk to your family, friends or coworkers about your struggles and they don’t understand fully. Or you’re embarrassed about a part of your life and are looking for a judgment free place to share.
What should I expect as a client in therapy?
There are a number of steps that take place as you begin the individual therapy process. The first step is completing an assessment. Assessments help pinpoint symptoms (your reason for coming), guide the diagnosis (if required by insurance) and treatment planning process. Assessments also inform the decision-making collaboration and aid in tracking individual progress.
