About Victoria Harris
Victoria has worked as a treatment provider for individuals involved in the justice system, primarily with substance use and sex offense behaviors, and assisting individuals with reintegrating into the community. Working in this setting drew her to learn more about addictive behaviors and fostered an interest in expanding her knowledge and expertise to better help the clients she encountered.
From this experience, Victoria has adopted a person-centered and holistic approach to counseling. She believes in the idea that the counseling experience should be focused on the client and supporting them in reaching their goals, as well as assisting clients in building connections between multiple areas of their life, including physical, emotional, spiritual and relational wellness.
She is looking forward to continuing to work with justice-involved individuals and substance use concerns and assisting them in fostering change. In addition to this, she hopes to be able to take the skills learned and apply these to new areas, including life adjustments, process addictions and sex and relationship concerns.
